Kapha’s qualities are damp, cold, heavy, sticky, jelly-like, blocking and stable. These qualities can naturally accumulate over the winter but are readily felt during the Spring. During the winter kapha is in it's solid state (frozen) and as the weather starts to warm up during the spring it starts to melt (liquid) and then kapha begins to flow and move from its solid-state.
